Hallow there, it’s another time to proceed with our healing process after a break-up. Perhaps you are in that phase where you just broke up with the person you loved and you are really hurt and depressed, well as I was going through the web and I came across these five recovery methods which I know will help you recover after the break-up.
Sharing.
Talking about negative feelings lessens the activity in the pain feeling part of the brain, this is proved to be a good remedy for heartache since spending time sharing with close friends helps the brain release natural opioids which acts like painkillers. So go to a friend you trust and just vent all those negative feelings in you. In order to feel good you have to first feel bad by venting the negative feelings first.
Practicing relaxation techniques.
Practicing relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing or journaling your feelings also helps you recover quickly from the break-up. Deep breathing allows energy to flow into your body which helps in the healing and recovery process of the break up.
Sleeping.
Although getting sleep in times like these is very hard because of the depression you get after the break up practicing relaxation techniques helps to get some sleep. While you are asleep your body has its own way of healing since sleep helps the immune system to function well and eventually healing.
Work out.
Doing some exercise helps your body release important chemicals such as opioids which act like painkillers, the more you exercise the better you will start to feel since your body has its own natural way of healing.
Having an imaginary conversation with your ex
Yea you read that right, when I read this I was also like what? But listen, having an imaginary conversation with your ex simply works on the idea that you need to talk your feelings out, so having this conversation helps that to happen. Just make sure you find a good place where you wont be disturbed and have the imaginary conversation, just talk anything you feel like, if you have to cry too just cry even if you have to reach the point you are out of tears and your face is all red like a tomato, this helps you detox.
